2023 Bank Windhoek Relay
Gather your team, bring your “A” game, and join us on Saturday, 13 May 2023, at Towerbos Farm on the Daan Viljoen Road for a trail run/walk/cycling. You can also enter your team in the virtual relay category and participate from anywhere worldwide, terms and conditions apply. Anyone and everyone can take part in support of community upliftment!
Unique from other running events, the Relay is a charitable event that embraces inclusivity, encourages teamwork, and promotes a healthy lifestyle through fitness. As connectors of positive change, Bank Windhoek has used the Relay to support various charitable organisations through funds raised for the past fifteen years.
This year’s Relay will be a hybrid (physical and virtual) event, including cycling and a Kids’ fun run for the first time. Together with your team, you can take part in the Social Media competition.

Take your Relay Team photos and selfies and post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #RelayRevolution to participate in the lucky draw, which will take place at the physical event.
Entry Categories
Category 1: The physical event at Towerbos Farm
Date: Saturday, 13 May 2023
Time: 06:30 for 07:00
Entry fees: N$600 per team of four, N$50 for kids' fun run (ages 9-13)
Teams can register from 17 March 2023 until midnight on 10 May 2023.

There will be a cash bar as part of the fundraising initiative. You will not be allowed to bring your drinks, except for water. There will be various food courts selling a variety of foods.
The venue has ample space for setting up your own gazebos, umbrellas, and camping tables and chairs to relax and socialise. There will be entertainment for kids and adults.
The medal handover ceremony will take place immediately after the event.
Category 2: Virtual Relay
Entry fees: N$600 per team of four
Registration due date: Wednesday, 3 May 2023
Virtual Relay completion date: Your team should complete virtual activities any time between Friday, 5 May 2023 and Sunday, 07 May 2023, at 12:00 pm. No submission done before or after this period will count.
Virtual Relay proof submission: All participant activity results must be forwarded to ian@teambuildnamibia.com or north@teambuildnamibia.com

Create a team of four with other people anywhere in the world and run, walk (5km) or cycle (10km) your distance wherever you are. A team with international participants must have a local representative who will facilitate the entry fees payment. Anyone and everyone can take part. There is no set route or location; team members in the same town can run, walk or cycle together. Medals for virtual participants outside Windhoek will be sent to their nearest Bank Windhoek branch. Medal for participants outside Namibia will be sent to their local representative.
