Food security is vital for every economy. This portfolio of eligible projects aimed to increase the productive capacity of arable land within Namibia. By financing initiatives to boost agricultural productivity, we strive to ensure sufficient and affordable food supply for the nation.
In 2022, eighty-seven (87) rhinos were poached in Namibia, a 93% increase from the previous year. To combat this, an eligible project was launched to enhance rhino protection efforts. This involved upgrading fencing to restrict animal movement, making it easier to safeguard these majestic creatures.
Education has been a national priority for Namibia since independence. This initiative focused on increasing access to education in various disciplines, enhancing employability and contributing to economic growth. By supporting crucial sectors, this financing ensures that many Namibians can gain the skills needed for the country's development.
