The first edition of the Bank Windhoek Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) Coastal Selekt Sales Awards ceremony was hosted on Thursday, 13 March 2025, in Walvis Bay. The awards celebrate the achievements of automotive salespeople from 2023 to 2024.
At the event, Bank Windhoek's Acting Head of Specialist Finance, Sandra Blaauw, applauded salespeople and dealerships for their hard work and dedication to journeying with Bank Windhoek in vehicle financing. Blaauw encouraged attending salespeople to remain committed to assisting their customers with Bank Windhoek as their partner.
Eddie Bamm from Indogo Toyota Swakopmund was awarded a gold award as the overall top salesperson. He has worked for Indongo Toyota Swakopmund for about 11 years and said receiving his award motivates him to reach more career goals. “I always aim for and set goals and remain positive to achieve them," he said. Additionally, he said working with Bank Windhoek to process sales is time efficient, with applications processed on time.
John Feris from Indongo Toyota Walvis Bay was awarded a silver award as the overall top salesperson. He has worked with the dealership for about nine years and said Vehicle Financing in 2024 was challenging. He encouraged other sales executives to foster strong relationships and communication with their clients.
He said that after receiving his award, he is motivated to excel and continue partnering with Bank Windhoek for more vehicle sales.
