On Tuesday, 26 November 2024, Bank Windhoek's Executive Officer of Retail Banking Services and Specialist Finance, James Chapman, announced the appointments of Maureen Platt as the Head of Property Finance and Amanda Von Wielligh as the Bank's Branch Manager of Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) Branch, effective Friday, 1 November 2024.
In her role as the Head of Property Finance, Platt will oversee the management, financial planning, execution of strategy, assessment of investments, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to ensure that the company's Property Finance portfolios are being used effectively to meet Bank Windhoek property market overall objectives.
Von Wielligh's responsibility as the Branch Manager of the VAF Branch is to manage and coordinate all operations and assume responsibility for performance and overall management. She will leverage her leadership capabilities to optimise resources, effectively manage risk, and align operational efforts with the Bank's strategic objectives in the vehicle and asset financing spheres.
Chapman concluded by congratulating Platt and Von Wielligh on their appointments. He added that Bank Windhoek is excited about their leadership contributions and looks forward to seeing how they will drive growth, transformation, and success in their respective divisions.
