The event, which will take place at the Dome in Swakopmund, is one of the NVF's highlight events and will see players from Botswana and Germany participating.
Namibia Volleyball Federation President Hillary Dux said: “The Bank Windhoek NVF Doc Open Tournament has become an attraction to volleyball players and spectators locally and within Namibia's neighbouring countries such as Botswana and Zimbabwe. This shows that with Bank Windhoek's support, volleyball has grown and is, no doubt, heading for greater heights."
NVF's Competition Director, John Uushona, said spectators can look forward to top-class volleyball action. "The Revivals and Active Performers volleyball teams want to retain dominance in both the female and male categories," he said.
The first match will start at 7:30 on Saturday morning, with the finals scheduled for Sunday evening.
